To seize the opportunities for opening-up and development, and to leverage financial resources to broaden the path for international development, the "Cross-Border Financial Services for Hubei's High-Level Opening-Up and Empowering Hubei Enterprises in 'Going Global' – Government-Bank-Enterprise Connection conference" was successfully held on July 22, 2026.

Invited by the Hubei Federation of Industry and Commerce, Reed Biotech participated in this exclusive government-bank-enterprise exchange conference, gathering together with provincial government representatives, enterprises, financial institutions, and industry peers to explore new pathways for the international development of Hubei enterprises.

1. Government, Banks, and Enterprises Gather to Build an overseas exchange platform.
This conference served as an integrated exchange bridge combining policy interpretation, financial empowerment, and industrial resource matching, bringing together government regulatory authorities, financial institutions, and key foreign-oriented enterprises in the province. It focused on addressing the practical challenges enterprises face in the process of "going global" and worked to break down information barriers.

At 2:00 PM, the conference officially began. Liu Yang, Deputy Governor and Member of the Party Committee of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) Hubei Branch, served as the host.
The keynote speech segment featured an impressive lineup of distinguished speakers. Zhuang Guangming, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee and Party Secretary of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce; Hu Dong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Commerce; Xia Hongtao, Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China Hubei Branch (also serving as Deputy Director of the Hubei Branch of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange); and Mao Weidong, Governor of the ICBC Hubei Branch, delivered speeches in succession. Their presentations centered on Hubei's overall opening-up strategy, support policies for foreign-oriented enterprises, and the development of cross-border financial service systems. They focused on addressing the pain points and challenges faced by provincial enterprises in going global, continuously improving the supporting financial framework for foreign-related operations, and providing comprehensive safeguards for Hubei enterprises to expand into overseas markets.

2. Intellectual Exchanges and Insights into Development Opportunities
The enterprise sharing session was equally substantive and insightful. Xiao Bo, Chief Accountant of China Information and Communication Technologies Group (CICT); Wang Xupeng, Chief Accountant of Hubei Hongtai Group; and Li Mingming, Chief Financial Officer of Hubei J.S. Machinery, three corporate representatives, shared their hands-on experiences in going global from the perspectives of their respective industries. These were not hollow slogans, but practical lessons learned from real challenges—a genuine guide on what pitfalls to avoid when expanding overseas.

Following the launch ceremony, Professor Guan Tao from Wuhan University delivered a highly insightful keynote speech, offering an in-depth analysis of hot-button issues such as the global economic and trade landscape, macroeconomic conditions related to foreign operations, and risk prevention and control in cross-border business. His presentation helped the enterprises present to rationally assess the international environment and scientifically plan their overseas expansion strategies.

In the latter part of the conference, a multi-expert business briefing session was arranged, with practitioners from banking, export credit insurance, foreign-related legal services, and international logistics sharing their insights in turn, showcasing comprehensive supporting solutions covering the entire value chain of enterprises' overseas expansion.

Actively engaging in communication to draw insights and gain experience for overseas development.
Reed Biotech has long been deeply engaged in the field of biological research reagents and has been steadily advancing its overseas market expansion. During this conference, the company diligently studied relevant support policies for foreign-related operations, engaged in face-to-face communications with major financial institutions, and gained in-depth understanding of various cross-border financial instruments and risk prevention solutions for overseas business operations.
Looking ahead, Reed Biotech will leverage Hubei's strategic advantages as a high-level opening-up hub, continue to make good use of the resources and platforms provided by government-bank-enterprise connectivity, and actively explore new models for international development. Empowered by cross-border financial services, the company will steadily advance its overseas business expansion, continuously enhance the international competitiveness of its own brands, and steadily forge ahead in the global biological research market.
