Reed Biotech Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Reed Biotech") was honored to welcome Dr. Shangguan from Zhongnan Hospital for a visit to our company.

During the visit, Dr. Shangguan toured Reed Biotech’s laboratories, R&D center, quality control center, and production facilities, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our operations. Professional exchanges and discussions were also held. Throughout the tour, Dr. Shangguan highly praised and recognized Reed Biotech’s dedication to excellence in specialized fields, rigorous attention to production details, and strict adherence to laboratory protocols.

Introduction to Dr. Shangguan

Dr. Shangguan specializes in clinical orthopedics, with extensive expertise in both research and clinical practice.

His focus lies in the diagnosis and treatment of joint and sports medicine-related conditions. He has led and participated in 5 national and institutional-level natural science foundation projects, co-authored over 20 SCI papers, and holds 2 approved patents. In 2019, he pursued advanced studies in France, and in 2021, a research project he contributed to was awarded a national scientific advancement prize.

During his visit, Dr. Shangguan engaged in in-depth discussions with Ruidi Biotechnology’s R&D team, exploring the latest advancements in biomedical research, future directions for innovation, and potential collaboration opportunities.

Following the tour and discussions, Dr. Shangguan was invited to join Reed Biotech’s May Monthly Birthday Celebration and the weekly "Crazy Thursday" afternoon tea event, where he experienced the company’s unique corporate culture firsthand.

A highlight of the gathering was Dr. Shangguan’s interactive session on joint health, during which he shared daily care tips and addressed colleagues’ questions about orthopedic-related ailments. He also offered personalized advice and extended heartfelt birthday wishes to four employees celebrating birthdays in May.
