Chairman’s On-Site Visit: SmartBench Workstation Commissioning

As a leading brand in Chinese laboratory automation sector, GentleFlow’s SmartBench Automated Pipetting Workstation boasts core advantages in high-precision liquid handling and modular scalability, perfectly aligning with critical steps in ELISA reagent production such as sample loading and dilution.

Led by Mr. Tan, the technical team conducted on-site debugging and customized the following features for Reed Biotech’s production needs:

  • Industrial-grade Stability: Achieves 100,000-well pipetting capacity daily with a fault rate below 0.5%.
  • Intelligent Error-Prevention System: Utilizes visual recognition to automatically calibrate pipetting paths, preventing reagent batch deviations caused by inaccuracies.
  • Data Interconnectivity: Enables full-process traceability of pipetting volume, temperature control parameters, and quality inspection results through robotic arms and intelligent software.
  • Precision Fluid Control: Pipetting accuracy reaches ±0.3% (at 1000μL range), meeting ELISA reagent gradient dilution requirements.

Our mission is to ensure technology serves humanity—putting people at the heart of innovation, emphasized Mr. Tan.

Charity Run Launch: Spreading Warmth and Science Education

Following the workstation commissioning, Mr. Tan and his team traveled to Wuhan University to jointly launch the “Love and Life Science” 10-Kilometer Charity Run with Reed Biotech, Norminkoda Biotechnology, and other enterprises.

This activity plan covers a hundred universities such as Tsinghua University, Fudan University and Wuhan University. Aims to:

  1. Convey Industry Warmth: For every 10 kilometers completed, participating companies will donate 500 yuan to primary and secondary schools in remote areas, organizing on-site donations once the total reaches 20,000 yuan.
  2. Promote Science Education: Host “Life Science Open Days” to introduce children to biotechnology, genetic testing, and more.
  3. Advocate Healthy Scientific Research: Encourage researchers to “step out of the lab, embrace sunshine,” and prioritize physical and mental well-being.

Cross-border integration: A Mutual pursuit of technological hard power and humanistic soft care

Mr. Lu, CEO of Reed Biotech, outlined three key directions for future development:

  1. Automation Upgrade: Transition from manual operations to fully unmanned workflows, drawing on international best practices.
  2. Digital Management: Build skill matrices and digital training platforms, optimizing resource allocation through dynamic 7S management dashboards.
  3. Low-Carbon Transformation: Reduce energy consumption and waste through intelligent systems, supporting the “Green Laboratory” initiative.
