Both sides, with the theme of “Exchange and Learning, Joint Improvement,” conducted in-depth discussions around production management, product quality, and laboratory standards, jointly exploring pathways for high-quality development in the biotech industry.

 

【Warehouse】 Standardized Management, Building the Foundation of Efficiency

The exchange began with the warehouse. As the “first station” of product circulation, ReedBiotech’s warehouse adheres to the principle of “tidy, orderly, accurate and efficient.” All items are organized and positioned according to category and specifications, with clear labeling for traceability. This not only avoids material confusion but also saves time costs in subsequent delivery processes.
After the on-site visit, Norminkoda team recognized the warehouse’s standardized layout and refined management.

 

【Shipping Room】 Quality in the Details

Entering the shipping room, ReedBiotech’s “customer first” philosophy was evident in every detail:

 

▸Eco-friendly Kits: The displayed ELISA kits of ReedBiotech and FeiYue Bio brands all use fully biodegradable eco-friendly materials, balancing product protection with sustainability, in line with current industry trends;
▸ Self-controlled Supporting Services: Manuals, labels, and other materials for the kits are all independently produced and printed by the company, ensuring full control from content accuracy to print quality, avoiding errors from third-party outsourcing;
▸ High-quality Shipping Assurance: All shipping tape used is 3M material, strong and durable, effectively preventing package damage during transport;
▸ Adequate and Clean Storage: The shipping room is equipped with ample, dust-free storage, ensuring timely responses to customer orders and safe product storage at the source.

Norminkoda team observed the packaging process on site and praised ReedBio’s “detail-oriented” quality assurance.

 

【Laboratory】 7S Management in Practice

The laboratory, as the core base for research and quality control, is where ReedBiotech rigorously implements the 7S management system, optimizing both environment and efficiency across seven dimensions:

 

▸ Seiri: Remove unnecessary items, keeping only essential equipment and consumables to avoid wasted space;
▸ Seiton: Arrange items according to “usage frequency and workflow,” with clear labeling for easy access;
▸ Seiso: Regularly clean benches and instruments, keeping them dust- and stain-free;
▸ Seiketsu: Solidify sorting and cleaning into routine processes to ensure a consistently clean environment;
▸ Shitsuke: Require staff to follow protocols and build good operational habits;
▸ Safety: Define safety guidelines and provide protective equipment to reduce risks;
▸ Save: Optimize consumable usage, reduce waste, and achieve efficient resource utilization.

 

On-site, experimental items were clearly categorized, laminar flow benches were dust-free, and the overall environment met strict scientific requirements while significantly improving operational efficiency.
Norminkoda team shared their own laboratory management experiences and held in-depth discussions with us on the “difficulties in 7S implementation and methods for long-term maintenance,” generating many practical insights.

 

【Production Room】 Automation Empowerment

The final stop was the production room, where ReedBiotech’s fully automated ELISA workstation became the highlight. Unlike traditional manual production, this workstation automates pipetting, incubation, and detection, not only improving production accuracy and efficiency but also freeing personnel from repetitive labor.

 

As explained on site: “The core value of introducing automation is to allow staff to devote more energy to experimental optimization and process improvement, shifting from ‘manual output’ to ‘value creation.’”

Mr.Lu CEO of ReedBiotech introduced the closed-loop management logic of “Man-Machine-Material-Method-Environment”: through the synergy of “professional personnel (man) + automated equipment (machine) + high-quality raw materials (material) + standardized processes (method) + clean environment (environment),” product quality stability is ensured from the production source.

After the visit, CEO Mr.Lu gave a systematic interpretation of ReedBiotech’s core management logic using the PPT “ReedBiotech’s Precise Positioning and Action Philosophy.” From closed-loop control of “Man-Machine-Material-Method-Environment” (perfecting SOP documents, selecting quality suppliers, building professional teams, and strict environmental control), to the deep implementation of 7S management, and the value empowerment of automated production — every system was designed around “quality stability and efficiency improvement,” forming a mutually reinforcing management cycle.

In the exchange, CEO Mr.Lu particularly emphasized that “seeking truth from facts” is ReedBiotech’s action guideline:

“We do not engage in exaggerated marketing rhetoric, nor do we practice superficial management. Whether it is product quality, production data, or management results, everything is based on objective facts. For example, our implementation of 7S or introduction of automation equipment is not for ‘show,’ but to genuinely solve efficiency and quality issues in production. Similarly, in serving customers, we always rely on real product strength and practical solutions, rather than competing through low-price strategies.”
